So I was told to write about anything that inspires me, so the possibilities could be endless. I could express my ‘passion for fashion’ or my ‘love for Topshop’ but I thought a little less generic this time.

‘but darling I’d still catch a grenade for you– Bruno Mars.

Most people have a best friend… a person they can rely to for a chat, pop round unexpectedly, take silly photographs with, go out for dinner with. I have more of a soul mate, someone I love unconditionally, someone I protect, someone I have so much pride in, someone that truly inspires me, everything from her class, her beauty, her delicacy, her silliness, her speech, her values, her handwriting, her intelligence. Obviously as well as the silly photographs, chats and spontaneous lunch dates! I wish it was still this simple. Being separated by 155 miles of English/Welsh soil isn’t easy. It was hard to see her move on to University but was amazing to see her so happy and content.
One thing I purely don’t understand in life, is the way that some people can be so selfish, rude, ignorant and immature. To have a ‘fall out’ is primary school material, absolutely ridiculous. Friendship is simple, but is all about trust. When you think you know someone, the chances are that you don’t. At all. This is where the selfishness, rudeness, ignorance and immaturity kick in.  I see this on a daily basis either on social networking, at college or in my own home. ‘Girls will be girls’ too many boys have said this to me, but why do some girls choose to live up to this reputation? Mad.
I will summarise by telling you one thing, and that is that that over our 8 year friendship, we have never fallen out. And this is why I take her as my motivation, role model and pure life inspiration. Emma Sophie Jones.
