My hot buy is the 70s style wide leg trousers. All the celebrities are wearing them and Blake Lively looks amazing. However as you can imagine Blake Lively didn’t get this outfit off the high street! So here is an outfit inspired by her outfit but in different colours.

The best way to wear these trousers is to stick to a simple colour theme so the trousers stand out more and then, like Blake Lively, add a completely different colour to the outfit in a piece of jewellery. The trousers are the statement piece of this outfit so keep it simple whether wearing it at day or night!

These ‘tobacco’ coloured trousers (£45 from Topshop) are a great spring/summer colour, team with a simple but slightly baggy vest top (cream top £28 also from Topshop). These trousers do not need to be touching the floor as it will make you look shorter. Try a pair of chunky platform heels or platform boots. I really like these platform loafers (Topshop - £70) and I think patent against the darker trousers would stand out. Then simply add a colourful necklace and a clutch and some bright lippy for a night out or a satchel style bag for a nice look during the day.
